Planned Parenthood buys new building in southeast Michigan for abortions:
Planned Parenthood of Mid and South Michigan have spent nearly 3/4 of a million dollars to purchase an office building in Auburn Hills. According to past information from Planned Parenthood, it appears abortions will be performed at this location. News reports state the Auburn Hills Planned Parenthood location will be operational in May or June of 2011. According to information provided by the Planned Parenthood Centers in West Michigan: “We are prochoice because we believe every child should be wanted and loved.” Right to Life of Michigan also agrees every child should be wanted and loved, but not being wanted or loved is not a justification for abortion. In fact, every child could be wanted and loved. To become involved locally, contact RLM Field Representative Chris Zielinski at oakland@rtl.org.
Keep Abortion Out of Health Care
The U.S. Senate and U.S. House committees
are presently working on health care reform
packages including various amendments that
will directly affect both abortion and rationing
of health care. National proabortion groups
see this legislation as an opportunity to
mandate abortion and abortion funding. Please
contact your two U.S. Senators, Carl Levin
and Debbie Stabenow, and your U.S. House
member. The message to be conveyed is that
abortion and abortion funding must be "explicitly
excluded" from any health care/insurance
reform legislation. To learn more and for
Congressional contact information, visit
Right to Life of Michigan at www.rtl.org
or call the Right to Life of Michigan State
Central Office at (616) 532-2300.
