STATISTICS TO GIVE US HOPE Through the work of organizations such as Right to Life of Michigan, the total number of abortions performed in Michigan has fallen 46.5% since the peak year 1987. There are now only 34 free-standing abortion clinics in this state, down from 72 in the late 1980's.

Michigan Ranked Number One for Third Year In a Row

Americans United for Life, a prolife, public-interest law and policy organization, released its fifth annual ranking of the most and least prolife states based on laws in the states. For the third year in a row, Michigan topped the list. This is news to celebrate and share with other prolife people as we gather for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday and at the more than 50 memorial services, marches and prayer vigils planned in Michigan.
